Beth (The Cloudy Bubble) at her Masters Graduation

Where it
all began...

Hello! I'm Beth. Growing up, I was always drawn to art. Whether my creations were deemed "good" or not was beside the point - I simply loved the creative process. But it wasn't until secondary school that my passion for art began to evolve into something deeper.

During this time, creativity transformed from a hobby into a vital outlet, where I used creativity to cope with certain challenges. Over the years, my focus shifted towards using art as a platform to raise awareness about mental health. However, to amplify my message, I needed to broaden the audience for my work.

This realisation led me to pursue an apprenticeship in digital marketing, where I was doing content creation for a design software training provider. As my passion for art and advocacy grew, so did my determination to turn this passion into a sustainable career. I dedicated the next four years of my life to pursuing a Bachelor's degree with Honours and subsequently a Master's degree in graphic design. Throughout this journey, I juggled full-time roles in marketing and design at two charities in York, further honing my skills and experience in both fields.

Choosing a smaller social media agency over a larger one can offer several advantages depending on your specific needs and preferences:

Personalised Attention: Smaller agencies or individuals like myself often provide more personalised attention and customised solutions tailored to your unique business goals. Since I am the only person behind the agency, I have to have a small client base. This means I can dedicate more time and resources to understanding your brand, target audience, and objectives.

Direct Communication: With me being the only employee, you will have direct contact with me. This eliminates layers of miscommunication and delays which can sometimes occur when working with larger agencies.

Cost-Effectiveness: Smaller agencies like myself often have lower overhead costs compared to larger ones, allowing us to offer competitive pricing without compromising on quality.

Specialised Expertise: While larger agencies may offer a wide range of services, smaller agencies often specialise in specific niches or industries.

Collaborative Partnership: Smaller agencies are more likely to view the client-agency relationship as a partnership rather than a transaction. With me working full time elsewhere, I can only work with small number of clients at one time. Due to this, there is a waiting list in place so that I only select briefs that I feel would be a good match, not only for myself but for also for your business.
